Payment Policy

We accept payments through Paypal, money orders, and personal checks.

Payment is due at the time of purchase. All major credit cards are accepted through our secure online server. Our shopping cart provider is Paypal. Your information is processed through Paypal's secure servers and your privacy is protected by Paypal's SSL technology.

Please Note: You may now use your credit card directly without having a Paypal account. You do not have to be registered with Paypal to make a payment through them. Paypal is a secure payments service that will never use your information but for this sale.

If you prefer to pay by check or money order: Payment must be received within 7 days of purchase. Money orders are considered cash and do not require a clearing time. All items will be held until check clears with our bank (10-14 business days.) If payment is not received within 7 days, all items will be returned to inventory and re-listed for sale.

There is a $25 fee for returned checks.

International Sales must be paid for with PayPal in USD for the amount of purchase and shipping (billed separately) only.

Shipping Policy

We ship via USPS Priority Mail with confirmation number for items that meet size requirements. Insurance is available upon your request. Larger items are shipped using FED-X.

We offer worldwide shipping. We use USPS Priority Mail or Federal Express depending on the size and weight of item. The shipping rates apply to the Continental U.S. only. All others, including Alaska, Hawaii and international customers please e-mail us for shipping cost.

Please allow 48 hours for your item to be processed and shipped. You will receive an email confirmation when your purchase is shipped.

                                             Refund Policy

We offer vintage "one-of-a-kind," Shabby ~ Cottage Chic treasures that embrace romance and a time worn appeal. Each treasure we offer is stunning and we are committed to describe each item to the best of our ability.

These treasures are vintage, they may possess slight imperfections that give them their Shabby~Cottage appeal that we hold so near and dear to our hearts. Vintage finds and hand painted treasures are NON REFUNDABLE.

All orders placed are covered by our policy terms. Any claims for damage (due to shipping only) must be emailed to us immediately for a return authorization number. All packing and the original product must be returned to us in order for refund. No refund will be made until original product is returned.

Elegance and Whimsy respects your privacy. We will not under any circumstance share your name, address, telephone number, or email address with any third party without your permission.

Lay-Away Policy

We are happy to accept lay-away payments via money orders or check. Please contact us in advance. Terms for lay-away: 1/3 of balance is due at time of order, 1/3 in 15 days and final 1/3 in 30 days. The order will not be shipped until full balance has been paid. Failure to make payment will nullify the sale. Monies already received will be credited toward your next purchase on my website ~ less 20% of total, for re-stocking fee.
